Hi all folks, we are streaming ice hockey with 4 cameras using vMix 24.
We got a new production pc as follow:
- I9-10980XE Cpu - GTX1080 - 8GB ram - X299 Asus Prime II - 32GB Ram - 2TB M2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus - 1x Blackmagic Decklink Duo 2 - 1x Blackmagic Decklink Mini Recorder 4K - 4x Panasonic CX350
We are experiencing better and fluid slow-mo ingesting 4 cameras in 1080i50 instead using 1080p50.
Problem is the monitor connected to the vMix machine does not accept 1080i but only 1080p50/60 so the only way is to set the master framerate on 1080p50 on the GPU.
What's the solution? Connect a TV that accepts 1080i instead of a monitor on the production Pc?
Many thanks

Is it more smooth in the final stream and recording? Or on your vMix monitor?
1080i is half the bandwidth of 1080p50. I would try it with a single camera and check if there is a difference.
It should not matter to the end stream / record what your PC monitor is set as, it is the Master Frame Rate in settings.
