I appreciate any help on this....
I have an Axis P1346 IP camera set up to stream mp4 as H264. Regardless of my camera resolution or camera profile, and regardless of my stream type in VMix, I cannot get a picture to show.
On the camera the H.264 encoder is enabled. The camera has a fixed IP (and port) as I am testing it locally on my internal network. The RTSP server is enabled.
I have tried calling the camera by its host name (I assigned) and by the rtsp access URLs listed in the manual for the camera. But regardless of stream type in vMix, and although some stream types "take", I get a black screen/no video. I can view the camera on an IE browser, but Chrome prompts me with a QuickTime error though QT is installed.
Anyone familiar with this brand and model? Thanks

Thought it was SOLVED:
rtsp://<IP>/axis-media/media.amp
RTSP over UDP -> Works on 11.0.0.63
but not on 12.0.0.120 (64 bit)

Hi, First make sure you are running the latest version of vMix 12 (12.0.0.128) Second, are you able to make the stream public so I can test it? Take a look at the statistics window in vMix and report back what it is saying for the RTSP stream: http://www.vmix.com.au/help12/Statistics.htmlRegards, Martin vMix

both versions are showing massive source dropped (frames) and about the same buffer time of 35ms, ~V of279-374ms.
V11 shows queue of 0-1, while 12 shows 4-6. V11 picture is very usable though.
Update of v12 system di not fix the issue.
See if you can get to the camera ... 173.11.174.189:85 , and I set temporary permissions... un = admin pw = vMix
Works on another vMix HD box v12.0.0.120 - wonder if its a Quicktime issue?

Hello, Excuse me but I've checked your Internet acces for the camera and for me I got image by using this url: rtsp://173.11.174.189/axis-media/media.amp And selecting RTSP TCP. I'am using vMix 12.0.0.114 as you can see in the screenshot EDIT:I've also tested it with 12.0.0.129 and had no problems with this version either

thanks TVlason;
I am thinking now it is a particular machine as I have 2 other I7 boxes that work fine. The problem PC box is a Core2Quad 2.66G CPU on W7. I get the input box UDP or TCP but its black. Everything else vMix is working fine.
My CPU on TM shows <15% and network usage is 20%.
I can also connect fine to the camera directly through Chrome or IE.
I will try another model IP camera...

Hmm that's weird. You've tried reinstalling vMix, Quiktime and the haali media splitter?
