Hello, I'm having trouble accessing Google Sheets as Data Source. I have followed the vMix help instructions for setting up API Key and getting the link to desired Sheets document. However, vMix only gives an error 400 about Bad request when accessing the sheets. I'm using the latest vMix 18. Is there a general issue with Google Sheets? API key should be fine, as with other key the error is 403 Forbidden. URL to Sheets is directly from sharing page, in format https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/[sheet ID]/edit?usp=sharing I've tried also without URL parameters with no change. Any help on this matter?

Therefore, make sure that you have the API key as well as credentials set up properly. Eventually, I think carefully following the steps outlined in the vMix help should do it: http://www.vmix.com/help19/GoogleAPIKey.html

Even tho I increase the request to 10000MS or more, i keep getting the "Too many requests" error. Could be there a possibility where Vmix makes more requests than needed, spamming the API limits? reference: https://developers.google.com/sheets/api/limitsThe logs say that VMIX keeps the requests at the maximum, even adjusting the request delays.

Yeah I was trying to use a Google sheet as datasource/scoreboard and it kept saying "too many requests". Which made it pretty annoying as you really need fast updating for scoring.
I had to revert back to a local excel file but that meant I couldn't get someone remotely to update it for me.
Anyone got a workaround for the Google API Too Many Requests issue?

I had a show this weekend that I used google sheets on another computer to post results as my main computer was already handling 3 cameras and many ads, so I didnt want to use it for anything else but vmix as I am on the lower end of the recommended setup for this. So what I had to do was when I was posting results, I set the google sheets to refresh rate to 5000 (5 sec) and when I was not updating, I would just add zeros on end to 50000 or more. I really wish vmix had a way to make a shortcut to adjust the refresh rate by assigning a shortcut, as I would just have to hit the button when I want it to update, and another when I dont. That way I could have control on the fly.

I got the exact same error and found a solution. The problem with with the Google API http reference. So choose none for the reference, or vmix.* as the permitted http, like this. It works for me.
