here you can find a quick video of our setup for a live french american football broadcast :

And here what we streamed :

Unfortunately we don't have higher stand on this field so the camera point of view is a little low.

Feel free to comment if you have some tips or questions

We use :

- 4 HD camera
- a DIY Intercom using a small audio mixer with computer headset and a headset amplifier
- our VMIX MIDI MAPPER software to use a midi control panel to control switch in VMIX (VMIX 11)
- a replay input use with stinger option
- 4 overlay layers
- a Behringer X1222USB audio mixer
- a Decklink Quad for video inputs
- stream in 720p (2500kb/s) using 4G cellular signal on Dailymotion
- 4 broadcast Headsets for commentary
- a DIY Snake (40 meters of multi cable) for the commentary box with 4 XLR input, 4 6.35mm output (headset), 1 SDI input (for commentary camera), 1 Component output for small TV
- a BM Decklink Mini monitor to send output video to commentary place
- save in 720p - mpg - 30mbits/s

We are using Audio-Technica BPHS1. Very good price/quality headset.

Here you have a representation of our com box.

Plug with a X are XLR
Plug with a J are 6.35mm jack
Plug with O or I are BNC connectors
Plug with A are power.

All J connectors are connected together and go to the SubMix out of our Audio Mixer.
All X connectors go to an Mic Input of our Audio Mixer
The I connector is for the SDI Commentators Input
The O connector is for the Component Out of our BM Mini Monitor (with a BM SDI to Component converter) for the TV (allow commentators to watch we're broadcasting)

Hello,

Thanks for posts ! Who do you use for 4G stream and how does it coast ? Free, Orange, Bouygues ? Cause with opérators, you are limited with volume of data sending with this type of encoding ?

I use sometimes Free with 4G and 20 Go of volume, but enconding in 400 kbs via Dailymotion too. About 1 Go for 6 hours of streaming (if I remember well).

Thanks !

Christophe

Merci !

I can second the recommendation for the Audio Technica headsets - they are excellent.
