Audio de-sync on NDI when sending from one system to another

I have two vMix systems running 24.0.0.59. For the purposes of testing I am running 1080p25 and have a sync test clip which I made.
I put this clip in system 1 and output to NDI. If I record this output on softron movie recorder the sync is correct.
However if I create an input on system 2 for the same NDI source, route it to output NDI and then record that output, the audio is 2 frames early.
Given its NDI throughout is there any reason for this to happen that anyone can suggest?
