I'm setting up vMix to stream at church to YouTube and Facebook.

Our Facebook is set up as a Page and I am a manager of that page and I have a persistent stream key set.

When I attempted to use vMix's automatic setup of Facebook it logged into "my" Facebook and would let let me drill down to the page I manage.

So I setup a RTMP stream and used the stream URL and key from the Live Producer settings screen on our page.

Then I did a "test stream" and used some royalty free background music and just a static camera shot and went live for about 5 minutes.

Our page did not show us as "live" and I was never able to find our video.

I looked at the stream status and it looked as if it was sending the stream out and I didn't get any errors from vMix I just never could find our video.

Any direction is appreciated.

We are experiencing a very similar if not the same problem. Have you found a resolution?

Have you gone live at facebook? Just streaming with the streamkey could not be enough.

Yes, we have found a solution.

We had to be logged in to the primary Facebook account for vMix to configure the stream properly.

When configuring the Facebook stream, vMix opens Chrome which depends on the account that was logged in.

I am only an admin of the page. Once we logged into the owner's page we were able to choose if we wanted to stream to the main page or the church page.

Hope this helps.
