We are noticing in our projects a significant move to SMPTE2110, we have also noticed a lot of users running vmix in the cloud. With that said we it would be great to see either supported but specifically: https://github.com/aws/a...di-sdk-in-an-application |

As much as I love NDI, which is what I use on most personal projects. In a number of higher end productions we are, for what it’s worth, seeing smpte2110 become the default to move pixels between multiple machines at high resolutions and for HDR. With the advent of vmix in the cloud and the release of the Amazon media adapter above it is really a key component to be able to integrate vmix into these workflows. |

Vmix integration of SMPTE 2110 JPEGXS. Now that FFMPEG compatibility with JPEGXS through a plugin is enabled by Intopix . I like to see full integration of SMPTE 2110 / JPEGXS to transport high resolution video into cloud . This will further enhance VMIX in remote production.https://www.intopix.com/jpeg-xs |

Isn't SMPTE the 10G network no latency stuff. This is good for local production in broadcast quality. But won't work for remote productions or cloud ingest. Where do you get 10G connectivity into the cloud. Very unlikely. I saw SDVoE capture cards PCIe that could help to get the zero latency 4k high end stuff into vmix.http://products.sdvoe.or...sdvoe-video-capture-card |
