Hi everyone. I need help troubleshooting Elgato CamLink problem with my new PC.
So I have been using vMix for hosting a virtual event since the pandemic began. I built a new PC just for that. My setup usually involves connecting 4 - 5 Elgato CamLink to capture multiple screens/cameras.
Over the past year the demand for virtual events has increased and it overload my PC capabilities therefore it requires me to build a new PC to fulfill the high demand.
However, in this new PC that I just build a few weeks ago, the Elgato CamLink for some reason no longer gets detected. Whenever I tried to connect a computer screen/camera, vMix says "Capture card is not detected" (not the exact word, but something like that).
So what am I missing? I built a new stronger/better PC for the high demand of virtual events but now I can't use it since the Elgato is not detected. I have installed all drivers for the new PC. The setup is the same as my previous PC.
Below is my new PC spec:
1. Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 2. Motherboard: ASUS TUF X570-Plus WiFi 3. GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 4. RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR 4 32GB 5. Storage: 500GB SSD Samsung 980 Pro, 1TB SSD 870 QVO, 2TB Seagate Barracuda
Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem? Some guidance/tutorial would be nice. Thank you.
