I have created a title with the line-ups of a football team, this is linked to an Excel file. EVERYTHING WORKS WELL. When I try to import this project into another existing project using the "Append" command the title loses the links to the excel file. What am I doing wrong?

Don't think you did anything wrong

Loading a prest loads everything eve dta source and its connections
Append an input just loads that input not any data source settings or even the data source itself

test: Datasource and title linked saved as preset

With blank vMix:
load preset all is loaded , data source And title and the linking
Append the title , data source is not loaded nor the linkage

Somehow makes sense to me

Therefore it is not possible to merge two projects with relative links to the data source. You have to redo the links to the data source every time, but not good. :(

Seems so

might be helpful to have the data source columns names match the title textbox names so one can match the columns automatically and use the "Apply to all" option . Will at least be quicker to relink.
Also helpful if data source source files are different but have same structure/column naming

Helpfiles:

Quote:
Column: Select the column to use for this particular Title Field, if you leave this set to Auto, the data source will map based on the following:

a) Will first look for the first column with the same name as the Title field, for example "Headline"

b) If no column is found, use the column index that matches the Title field index. For example Headline would be Column1, Description Column2 and so on.
