Hello I have a problem in case you can help me. Vmix randomly closes and reopens after 2 seconds with the project that was open, it does not give any error, and it continues to function normally, although it cuts recordings, streaming and external outputs.
It happened to me on 2 different computers with different hardware and different vmix versions, one with 23 and one with 24, different 4K licenses, with home windows and the other with professional windows, also with different windows updates.
Any solution

Just a thought…
Does the entire screen go black, or does only vMix disappear? I have had problems with some keyboard utilities that suddenly put the computer into sleep mode, and then suddenly wake up. Checking the windows event log for errors helped track down what was happening.

Vmix is closed, the windows desktop is displayed and Vmix opens again in the preset we are working on.

Do you happen to have any NDI sources on the network? This can easily lead to vMix closing unexpectedly also the vMix team claim that it is occurring only on very rare instances or on faulty hardware / installations.

Suggest you contact vMix Tech Support at support@vmix.com. Make sure to include your license key in your email with a full description of the problem. Also send them an Error Report. You can find that in vMix Settings --> About. - Tom

Hi,
The vMix restarting with the same preset is what happens when the GPU crashes.
This has nothing to do with NDI, so I have had to delete the posts containing that false information. The customer should contact us via email as Tom said, and we can advise on options such as updating the driver or perhaps replacing the graphics card.
