Hey,

I am a vMix Pro user and I am having problems with NDI. I use two network cards on the same computer due to other data that I traffic and become corrupted when the NDI is on the same network.

The problem is: vMix sends an NDI signal to the two network cards, but I need that signal to travel only to one of them. Is it possible to configure this way?

vMix Version: 24.0.0.58

Yes, that's possible. The network-card, where the NDI os located to, make it as a public network. And the network-card, where the output of vMix is located to, of course to a private network. Then exclude in the firewall-settings the NDI from the private-network, so that all the traffics is routed only on the public one.

Cheers, Thomas

Your information helped me partially. NDI Tools creates new rules in the firewal as many times as necessary to travel over the network. When I consulted the list of rules, there were more than 10 equal rules enabled for private and public networks. Every time I disabled public connections, he (NDI Tools) created them again, enabling traffic. To resolve it I had to create exit rules blocking each NDI Tools software on public connections.

Thank you for your attention.
