Shortcut +=1? Shortcut Grammar?

Using Scoreboard template in GT titles. In shortcut menu I select the Function:SetText. Input:6 Scoreboard5-GetLow.gtzip. Title:Home Score.Text. Value:+=1
Using the key(up arrow) I get "+=1" in the text, not a numerical increase. I'm doing something wrong but cannot figure it out. Tried square and curly brackets around the '+=1' command, no luck. I'm missing something simple though in the forum everyone says just type in +=1. What am I missing?

Rudy, exactly what I did. All I get is "+=1" as text on the scoreboard. Any ideas why? The Value box sees +=1 as text, not an expression.

Thanks for the interest. Tried it both ways, with and without a numerical value through the title editor. It just sets the text to what's in the value box, (i.e. "+=1"). How does the value box in the shortcuts menu know it is being given an expression as opposed to just some text?

Make sure the initial value is 0 (zero) in Home Score.Text and value is +=1 in the shortcut
it does work fine!

Thanks! It finally worked. I swear I've done it exactly this way a bunch of times, with both a zero or a one in the title editor and when pressing the key I got "+=1" on the screen. Now it works. I count my blessings and thanks again for your help, but I'm feeling just a little nervous about setting this up. Will do it over and over just to check...
