Hi, when you have a RTX 300 card you cann enable resizable bar support. Introduction - How graphics card memory worksUp until now, most motherboards and graphics cards would allocate a small amount of memory (typically 256MB) as a cache that is used to transfer all data between the System Memory and GPU Memory. For most workloads this is sufficient for things like transferring textures to the GPU for games, but for programs like vMix which are constantly transferring video data (such as from capture cards and NDI) this can be a significant bottleneck. The GPU Mem indicator in vMix and what it means. The GPU Mem indicator was added to vMix to show how much of this cache memory is in use by live inputs (such as cameras, NDI and video clips). 100% meant any inputs over that would result in the memory becoming shared. Any transfer in progress of another input would block any subsequent inputs for a brief period of time, this shows up as high "Render Times" in vMix. Enter - Resizable Bar Support and how to enable itIn short, Resizable Bar Support does away with this cache memory limitation and provides access to the full amount of GPU memory at all times, improving performance and efficiency. It requires support by both the motherboard and the graphics card in order to be enabled. https://www.vmix.com/kno...th-resizable-bar-support

With the 3090FE, sometimes I get GPU overload and sometimes not, even though nothing else in the system has changed. I'm still trying to figure out a pattern of what causes the GPU overload.

Following this, it´s just seems to appears randomly. in my case, just today, working on small production with my main machine running vmix 26 updated, win10 pro original updated and cero problems before... Can a virus or malware be the problem?

Can a virus or malware be the problem? I reverted from NDI Tools 5.5 to NDI Tools 4.0 because the newest version of NDI Tools pushed me over the edge. Note that vMix 26 uses NDI internally and seems to have lost the option to select which GPU when there are multiple GPUs but that alone didn't cause the problem for me, it was the four running NDI Studio Monitor instances that shoved me over the edge. Also note that total GPU usage is meaningless in the vMix context, vMix only uses specific parts of the GPU so while the GPU may be near idle the parts vMix needs can be overloaded. The key to watch is the "Render Time" which you want to be 15 ms or less.

In my case, after a whole day of trying, it turned out that the problem was with the HDMI cable that was plugged into the graphics card. Even though the cable displayed the image correctly, it caused a "GPU OVERLOADED" message and the render time was high. It was probably damaged somewhere and causing a short circuit. After replacing the cable, everything returned to normal. I didn't need to reinstall the entire PC...
