Forgive me if this is already a thing. I am relatively new to vMix and come from a background of FXPC, Adobe CC, and graphic design.

I am used to transform/position settings being done in pixel values or percentage of canvas size. I simply can't get my head around the vMix settings. Especially radials for rotation. What's that all about? Is that a carry over from broadcast hardware? I dunno... but I find myself completely incompetent and quickly AND ACCURATELY positioning a Picture in Picture, or simply rotate an input 90º etc. I'm desperate just to see these options a px or %. A simply drop down to chose in the UI would go a long way, and be on par with software like AI Illustrator.

Feature creep, talking of Adobe programs. I love how you can enter math in a transform property in AE, AI etc. So if I want to make my image half size I just append /2 after the value in size... you get the idea. I'm no programmer so no idea what kind of a request this is.

Anyway, that's my tuppence worth. :)

I'd be open to the option of choosing your preferred unit, but getting rid of the current units entirely is a giant middle finger to those who are fine with how things work now and already find it intuitive. That's a happy medium versus "well it doesn't make sense to MEEEEEE."

I've yet to come across a video switcher that does things in pixels. That include Sony, Grass Valley, Ross, Panasonic, and Blackmagic Design. Never say never I suppose.

+1. degrees for rotation atleast. radians are best kept in maths/programming.

I'd like to add my vote to Z-rotate being a nice number in the 'position' dialogue box please.
I just want to rotate an input 90 degrees and I'm guessing that 1.6 'numbers' is the answer

:-)

Thank you.
