When a video file is selected to play you have the ability to raise the audio level but no way to lower it past it's recorded level. I've seen plenty of professional video clips that peak into the red area of the level meters. I've ended up re rendering the file in video editing software and lower the volume there.

Sorry but I do not understand, of course you can lower the level in vMix's audio mixer.

Pls explain where you can not do that.
