I've been using VMix for some student production work at the college I work at. I have been recording a file version to edit with and I also have been streaming to Youtube with VMix so we can easily watch the productions from Youtube. I've noticed that the video brightness seems dulled down on the Youtube clips compared to the recorded file versions. As you can imagine this is frustrating. I cannot figure out for the life of me why this would be happening. The weirder part is that when I'm looking at the Youtube Stream live the video level seems to look correct. It's only after I've finished the stream and I am looking at it from Youtube that the whole production just lucks darker and duller then it does live. Our production is 720p. The streaming settings are as follows.
Stream settings.jpg (61kb) downloaded 0 time(s). The computer and network are not struggling to produce the stream or the recordings. The video is not pixelating. It just looks dulled down. Almost like the video level is being turned down.Any thoughts?
