Is there any technical reason why dynamic inputs cannot be selected for layers?
I can see where this could be very useful.

Some time ago I asked your same question, but I never answered it.
I proposed the possibility in the OUTPUT multiview to be able to choose all the levels to be inserted, not just the inputs.

While you can not select it from a dropdown you can change a layer with shortcut using a Dynamicn. But you have to specify the input in a dynamicValue not Input

Doggy,

I know I can set it through shortcuts or scripting.

What I am looking for is having it in the drop down list when specifying the input’s layer content... in much the same way it is in the drop down list for assigning an input within a shortcut.
