Sorry for my bad English I use AKAI APCmini, I would like to know how to disable master from external audio. If I use the MUTE I cannot hear the audio in the studio. 2f6ced42-c844-4418-bb28-5d38978ab3a6.jpg (740kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

I'm guessing here what you mean, but if you want a way to monitor the studio audio you could put all the inputs you need to monitor on an unused Bus (eg. Bus C) and Solo that Bus, and un-route the input from the Master Bus. Use the AudioBus shortcut on your AKAI to route/un-route the input from Master Bus.
Otherwise: Could you be a bit more precise on your audio routing? What exactly do you mean with "external audio"? How do you monitor audio? Do you mean "I cannot hear the audio IN the studio" or "FROM the studio"?

Hi Max,
I think you are doing it in a way that is not supposed. In Vmix, they call the Studio monitors "headphones". I know that the name is confusing but that's what is is meant for.
go to the SETTINGS page and then to AUDIO OUTPUTS. then select for HEADPHONES the audio output that you have your studio monitors on. In my case this is "speakers (high definition audio)" which is the mini jack output at the back of my vmix computer.
If you have it setup that way, then the "headphones output" (= studio monitors) will ALWAYS output the MASTER audio unless you press a SOLO button on a channel in the vmix audio mixer. When pressing a SOLO button, your studio monitors will output that channel only, while at the same time, the program audio will keep on going in your show, recording, stream, ...
I hope this is helpfull,
Gert
