Hi,
Is it possible to control Data Sources from a web browser from another workstation? I would like to control the headlines RSS feed from another computer to allow the video operator to concentrate on switching only video.
Thanks!

Hi ghbroadcast, and welcome to the forum.
Could you please explain what you want to control? Perhaps by describing a use scenario.

Sorry if I wasn't too clear.
We run a news production with one person handling CG events and the other handling video mixing live cameras and video clips. We would like the one handling CG to be able to update and decide what goes on air without interfering with the video switcher or being physically behind VMix? Hope its a bit clearer now.

Not much clearer I am afraid. I assume you are aware of the Shortcuts DataSourceNextRow, DataSourcePreviousRow, and DataSourceSelectRow. These can all be controlled via vMix's web interface. That, together with the functionality of Data sources in terms of source update, should cover a lot of scenarios. If not yours, tell us why.

@ ghbroadcast
If I understand you correctly, I think a lot of what you want to do is possible (using some of the tools Richard describes), but perhaps not in the way you might like or want... You should be able to monitor and/or manage the "Data Sources" from another computer as well as activate or de-activate said "Overlay" through the "Web Controller" Shortcuts, just not within the same window or app and not without potential "risks" to the overall production. I would suggest experimenting a little and figure out a workflow that will work for you and then perhaps make a "Feature Request" that will potentially make the workflow you desire a lot easier.

+1
This would be good to add this as a featur.
Changing the data source would push the web address to update in the input in vMix.
Cheers Gerard
