The PC we use for Vmix has no WIFI and the fibre line we use for broadcast is not wifi enabled, this was done deliberately so there would be no-one accessing the PC and bunny hopping on free WIFI and eliminate any line drop outs in our live football coverage.
So is there an easy way to use the Web Controller Tally Light System that is secure (ideally password protected) easy (ideally plug and play) but also cost effective, I've tried Tally Lights on a laptop which worked brilliantly but would like to add it to our main production.
Cheers in advance

A laptop seems the right way to go, since there's always a spare lying around somewhere and it has an ethernet connection. Since you already answered your own question in the post, what's the real question? 😅

You can use NDI encoders with tally light integrated. Very easy straight forward. I use Birddog devices and can report only good.
