Hi there,
I'm trying to designate some SetExternal2 shortcut to specific named inputs. I've got it working with the SetLayer shortcut, but for External2, only the MultiView, Output, Preview seems to take over. I've got the "Input" set to active, which is not letting me override the "Value:" field.
I know I can set the input to the one I want to designate, but I'd like to setup the show well in advanced and just rename the inputs to the "value:" name instead. Again, SetLayer function lets me override and specify an input by it's name in the "Value:" field.
Am I missing something??

The "SetOutputExternal2" shortcut requires different information than the "SetLayer" in the Value field. Function: SetOutputExternal2 Input: you can select a specific input if desired (leave blank if you want to set external2 to Output, Preview or Multiview) Value: enter the word Output, Preview or Multiview (if you selected an Input as above, then enter the word Input in the value field) Here is a handy link to the shortcut commands: https://www.vmix.com/hel...utFunctionReference.htmlcheers, Richard
