Help on how to implement two things in vMix (SOLVED)

Hello all. I have been working on converting my OBS workflow over to vMix and it is going pretty well. I have a couple scenarios I am not quite sure how to implement, and coming from OBS, I may not be thinking on how to do the below things in vMix. So would love to know if the below things are feasible in vMix and some tips on doing it.

Thanks ahead of time for any recommendations.

1) I have various list inputs with different genres of music in each one. So one may be ambient music, one synthy, rock, etc. Right now I have triggers setup to start playing one of the lists directly as I enter inputs where I want that. And when I switch to say a "be right back input" I can have it pause that list. The problem is I have to specifically go in each time I want to change the list to a different one, I have to go back and fix all the triggers to point to the proper list I am using.

Is it possible to do something like have an input with the desired genre list selected or added, and then the triggers work on that input to start/stop playing the list with triggers on the other inputs. Then I can just make sure the proper genre of music I want is active in that input and all the triggers still work and I don't have to change them each time?

2) I have a few "be right back" videos that are short looping videos with no audio. When I am in between things, or setting up for the next event I switch to the BRB input and the video plays on a loop along with 3-4 music files that eventually loops also.

Is it possible to have all my BRB videos in a list, or some setup where when I switch to the BRB input ONE of the videos is randomly picked to play (or if not random it just moves down the list to the next one and then back to the start)? And it plays that one video on a loop and the backing music tracks on a loop. I don't want to have all the BRB videos play one after the other (since they are loops they are short in length, but when looped they look fine when left going for however long I need).

Would love to be able to go to the BRB input and have just one video loop, while the 3-4 music tracks loop. Next time I come back to this BRB input, it plays a different video loop.

1)Look at the new dynamic shortcuts in the recently released vmix 24

2) put your music in another list set to auto next then add it as a layer/multi view over the video list

So what I ended up doing.

1) For the background music what I did was set up a list input for each of the different genres of music. Each of these genre list inputs has a transition in trigger to set that input to dynamic input 1. I then have all my main scenes pause or play the dynamic input 1. So all I have to do is before I start broadcasting I just need to trigger the genre of music I want. Then everything works.

2) For the BRB videos I have an input that is a list of the videos. The various audio tracks I use on loop for the videos is added as a layer on this input. When this input transitions out I have it shuffle both the videos for its list, and the audio tracks. The list for the videos is set to auto first and loop. The list for the music is set to auto next, auto first, and loop. This way each time I come back to this input a random video is played on a loop (not cycling to the others) and the music is randomized and played one after the other than looping.

So thanks for the tips. Everything is working great now!
