We use VMIX with vision engineer.

They love the Vectscopes features, but it seems that it can only be assign on the preview manually (I did not find any shortcuts/script/api to set up the vecto in the preview)

I request a feature define an input as a waveform monitor of another input (or to change an input to its waveform using the “Configure various Input Settings” menu)

The idea it to deliver to our engineers their inputs with their vecto on the same screen

As the preview is used by the director, the engineer can’t have access to the preview & vecto features.

Not sure if I am clear :)

or have vector overlay on an ndi output. engineers could then just control which input they want to monitor on the output with shortcuts (set outputx)

this is solvable with 3d party tools now with an ndi monitor that contains vectorscopes.

I proposed something similar a couple of years ago. I really would love to have waveform and vectorscope in separate panels (windows) possible to tie to either a specific input, to the preview or output. If that also could be sent to a separate monitor through NDI it would be awesome.
