Is it common that the audio latency on a vMixCall coming from vMix going to Chrome Browser is lower than vMix to vMix?

Our setup uses 2 vmix calls.

Call 1: vmix to vmix
Call 2 vmix to chrome

Both remote calls are in the same room (but different computers) connected to the main vmix via gigabit fibre optic connections. Everything is wired (no wifi). The signal being sent from the main vmix is the same to both calls. In my brain both calls should receive the audio at roughly the same speed (the video is the same on both calls). However the call in chrome gets its audio with a noticeable amount less latency.

Is this normal? You would think that they would be roughly equal latency, or, if anything, vmix to vmix would be faster than vmix to chrome?

We tried sending at different resolutions and nothing changes.

Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!!

Ben
