Hello. I wanted to create a dynamic title that switches datasources over a period of time. Unfortunately, found out that vMIX can't do that. For now I created multiple text inputs and different animations. But it would be great if you can change datasource of a title using shortcuts.

It was a little confusing to implement without this feature. Many animations with hidden layers and a bit of frustration.

Are you saying : changing the data source itself ? the file/source ?
if so why not just change the content of that file/source ? Avoids the issue of having errors in the "connection" when switching to a different file/source. Is basically the point of the data source, abilitie to change its content being reflected in the title.

I mean changing the linked datasource of a certain title. I use another software that creates multiple text files with data. Maybe there is a way to constantly sync local text files with a spreadsheet, but my knowledge in this area is limited. Or maybe if could add multiple text files into 1 datasource.

Is ok if you want things to be complicated and there is no way to have all the data in the same file (as they would need the same structure anyway and select the row with the data needed in the title) ;-) else Why not copy/rename the text file to a file with the name you use in the data source. could be done with a batch file , a vMix script linked to a button ( then you can select which one has to be changed to the used datasource one

Yeah, I am thinking of creating a script that will automatically merge all text files every minute. That is the only solution I can come up with right now. Thanks for pushing a little harder. Still, it would be great if vMIX can do that.
