Hi! Brand New to vMix. Trying it out instead of a traditional switcher. We use ProPresenter, which works great so far. I installed the Pro Trial of vMix and set up an NDI input from ProPresenter 7 on the same machine for testing purposes. I see the PPresetner NDI signal on vMIX. Video and audio show up fine.
However, when video plays (or I'm guessing everything else, but they are all stills), there are, the best way I can describe, micro-stuttering. Not huge where the screen freeze, but movement isn't smooth at all.
The frame rates match between everything. Both vMix master frame rate is 23.98 and the ProPresenter main and NDI output is 23.98. But, for no reason every once in a while it will playback perfectly. then it'll start again.
Nothing else is running on this PC except these two apps.
Anyone have any advice or have experienced this before?

Start by changing your rates to 29.97 or 59.94 These are broadcast Standards 23.98 is left over from Film production. Tv's will not correctly display this rate

Steve I wouldn’t say it’s left over. We do everything on 24fps. Always have. Even though I can’t stand the thing (why looking into vMIX) the BMD ATEM switcher works perfectly in 24. We use 24 for the look. Don’t want it to look like TV. I’m guessing there is an issue with ProPresenter sending 24 to NDI.
