Hey Folks, i have a weird problem with my BlackMagic SDI Cameras for sport. All lanes are not sharp and looking awful, Rest looks fine. Picture is attached.  Bildschirmfoto 2021-01-13 um 19.50.11.png (326kb) downloaded 9 time(s).Thank you!

Setup:
Windows 10 with vMix Pro with 2 Decklink Duo 2
Blackmagic Design Studio Camera HD 2
On the big monitor of the camera the picture is looking fine.

Setup of BMD? which GPU? which CPU Do you have the problems with other cameras also? Decklink in wrong PCI Port? Enough lanes for the 2 Decklinks? Did you test it with BMD Media Express?

To me this looks like interlacing issue. Are you using 50i. Then this might be the issue. Some BMD cards don't do 50p. Try using 25p if that makes a difference. In sports 50p would be my recommended setting but if only 50i is possible by cam or card I would use 25p.

thanks for following up my problem.
The cameras are set to 108050i and the vmix setup also.
CPU is i9-9900k and the GPU is a RTX 2060 Super
I do not have other cameras to check if the same problem occure.
PCI ports are correct, checked it with a tool.
16 Lanes for 1 x GPU 16/8 and 2 x Decklink Duo 2 which needs 4 per card, so its enough and i have no dropping frames.
How to test with BMD Media Express?

There is no interlaced problem, moving parts are looking fine.

open BMD Media express "Edit" / "Preference" > Setup format and folders Select the correct input under "Device" click "log and capture" you should see the input on the right part above "log and capture" But I would prefere 1080p50 or 1080p25 instead of i50

Can you explain more why you would prefer 25p rather than 50i for sports please ?

in i50 we also sometimes had problems with the pictures
this problem was gone with p50 and p25
what's about Media Express? Same results?

@xaver Its learned from all our ob vans to work with 1080 50i. We also give 1080 50i to the sng. But thats our broadcast part, here i am working in livestreaming. I had the chance to check the signal with a canon xa15 yesterday. Looking fine, so the problem must be the camera. Camera on 25p shows the same problems. We have 32 pieces of the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera HD 2, so i tested it with more than 5. Seems i will not get it worked. Attached is a another video example, just have a look at the lanes. Players movement are clear. picture.mov (2,925kb) downloaded 13 time(s).Thanks for all your help.
