Hi

I'm having sync issues with VMix. Sometimes my audio is off by a few seconds and sometimes too
a few frames. I usually fix this by turning the EXTERNAL OUTPUT on and off again. What could be the issue?

System specs
i7-3770K
16GB RAM
Decklink Duo (2 HD-SDI cameras)
Decklink SDI (for output to an ATEM switcher)
Windows 7 Ultimate
VMix 12

Thanks
Carlos

Hi,

What graphics card does the system have?
Also, what does the render time value say on average down the bottom of vMix?
Under the External Output tab in Settings, what is the Audio Device set to? It should be Decklink Audio Render #?
In vMix Settings under the Audio tab, what is the Recording Audio set to ? (It should be vMix Audio and NOT system mix)

Regards,

Martin

Hello

Martin, the Audio Device is set to Decklink Audio Render #1.

The Render time is 24ms, CPU is 13% and FPS is 25.

The graphics card is a GTX660 2GB RAM.

Hi

Under the Audio settings Tab it is set to VMix Audio and the audio renderer to
Default Audio Direct Renderer. In External Output it is set to Decklink Audio
Renderer.

What is the output set to in the windows control panel under hardware and sound?
Make sure it is set to your speakers or headphones and then do a test to see if audio is in sync in vMix
and compare with external output.

What inputs in vMix are you using to test audio sync?
What version of the Decklink driver is installed? 9.8 is recommended.

Also try reinstalling the latest vMix from our web site as some components may not have been installed correctly.

Regards,

Martin
