Hi All, Here you can find a link on our website. You will find what we produced this week-end. This is a american football game for the french departmental championship. Corsaires vs Quarks, both teams are in south of Paris. All this was produced with VMIX 11 and recorded in mpg 720p 50mb/s Feel free to comment. http://www.asvtv.fr/repl...s-3ieme-journee-d2-2014/

Nice. I've played american football for eleven years and was a referee for 14 years in Sweden. I don't understand any french so I have no idea what the commentators are saying. These are my comments. Hope you can benefit from them. Try to get a better overview angle on one camera, preferably standing on a roof or high up on the bleachers. It's not that much difference between the two shots. From that camera you can zoom in on the offensive line/TE QB and Running Back.Receivers can almost be omitted from the shot. At the snap zoom out. If it's a runplay, zoom in on the action, if it's a passplay zoom out so you can have the qb and receivers in the same shot. Use the other cameras for close-ups of the action to use in replays and between the plays. I know this can be hard to do(I've been playing with some football scoreboards in vMixTitle)but it would be nice to have Down and distance and a 40/25 sec play clock. And tell the referees that they are going to get televised. I saw some bad ball-handling by the referees... ;-)

Unfortunatly we don't have a higher view on the field on this locations. We need to rent a plateform to do that.. Here you can find our second french American football game streamed live on dailymotion using 4G cell phone. http://www.asvtv.fr/quarks-vs-dockers-2014/

Guy How does it look like, can we see a photo of the kind of mast you are using? Low budget :-) extend up to 5 meters, more than sufficient for my purpose No looking for higher ground anymore, very portable not raised reg DV capture, mast not fully extended (sorry about quality)
