It would be nice to have the platform capable of including a *.bat file as a part of the scene that can be triggered based on the scene opening, exiting etc...
This allows standard Windows users to gain even more control capabilities from the vMix platform itself without having to accommodate layers of coding within vMix itself.

not sure if i understand the question correctly but
a trigger can call a script a script can call external things, like bat files etc
external applications can call vMix functions (like with a HTTPrequest for example)

Slightly related One quick and dirty way of triggering external things over http is to use shortcuts or triggers to set the url for a browser input, I’ve Done this for lighting consoles that could be triggered over http
