Hi martin,
Vmix is great but i'm getting two problems right now.
Problem 1 - I start using external to send video signal to Flash Media Encoder, and then start streaming. Everything is going great. But when I close the FME and then stops the external, if a few moments I try to start the external again, i get this message:
How to fix this?
Problem 2 - Sometimes, the input streaming goes no sound. So i have to restart the vmix to get sound on stream input again.
Using last 11 version (the last one before 12 version).
Thank you.

Could you let me know the exact version of 11 you are using and also what External Output settings you have setup?
Thanks,
Martin vMix

Thanks,
Martin vMix Hello Martin , The version of vmix I'm using is the latest version before upgrading to version 12 , so is the version 11.0.0.66. Here a step-by-step problem: - Start Vmix and add some inputs ; - I click on the Start button of External and everything works fine ; - I open Flash Media Encoder and start transmission ; - I broadcast for some time until I need to cancel the transmission. So I click the Stop button of External, and close the Flash Media Encoder. From this point, the transmission is locked, and can no longer transmit again using the External. It is important to mention that the option of Fullscreen continues running smoothly, but the External option is locked. Another important point I need to mention, is that even with the External not working (since I already clicked Stop) , if I open the Flash Media Encoder I will have audio from External but will not have the video. It's true! It's like if the External 're caught in computer memory. Assuming that this problem started, I also note that there are some error messages when I click to sharpen the definition of the video. Here are the pictures as requested : I await an urgent reply ! Regards ,

What graphics card are you using? Are all the drivers up to date? Could you provide more details on the sharpen error?
When errors occur, please click Send Error Report so I can analyse further.
Also, try installing vMix 12 and see if the problem is there as well, you can always install vMix 11 back later.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Now, everyting is ok, but i had to restart the cpu or i cant start the external again. I'm using a desktop core i5 with nvidia and 8gb ram. As soon as i get the error message again of sharpen error, i'll print and post here. Also, i'm gonna send error message by clicking on the button "Send Error Report". Thank you for your attention. WHAT I THINK THE PROBLEM IS: When I'm with FME importing the EXTERNAL of Vmix, and suddenly I close EXTERNAL with the FME open, system hangs, because the FME will try to continue pulling the EXTERNAL and will not find, causing the error. But this is only one line of thought.

I've installed the VMIX 12 and everything is fine now. So, if you are getting problem with RTMP INPUT AUDIO (Ie. no audio issue) or getting error message when turn on/off External Start Button, I suggest for everyone that uses the Flash Media Encoder to streaming, to do this step-by-step solution: For RTMP Audio Problem: - Update to VMIX 12 will fix the RTMP Input Audio Problem For External Button Problem: - Start Vmix - Click on External Start. The EXT will appear. - Only now open Flash Media Encoder. Stream as much as you want. - Since your event has finished, close the Flash Media Encoder. - Stop your External on VMIX. This is the way to do not get problem with the External on VMIX. If you stop the External with the FME running, you wont be able to stream again, unless you restart the vmix or reboot your machine. Thats it! Regards
