I have access to a friend's system, and enjoy using it....what I would like to know, as I am building a new system for him, is there a way to have vMix launch with windows, so that instead of waiting until windows is fully launched and shows its screen, that vmix will be launched without showing windows screen...He wants to have this system setup as a full vMix system

If you copy a vMix preset file to the Windows StartUp folder then vMix will load with that preset, but you will still see some elements of Windows.

I tried it, but it takes long to work....I was looking for a quicker way, but, it works...thanks....I had to seek help in finding the Startup folder.....could not remember how, so I posted it here for anyone who wants to do the same thing.....

Programs or shortcuts placed in the Startup folder will run whenever Windows starts.

Click the Start button Picture of the Start button , click All Programs, right-click the Startup folder, and then click Open.
Open the location that contains the item you want to create a shortcut to.

Right-click the item, and then click Create Shortcut. The new shortcut appears in the same location as the original item.

Drag the shortcut into the Startup folder.

The next time you start Windows, the program will run automatically.

Have you tried an SSD system drive?

That looks very interesting. Does it load vMix significantly faster than the traditional method and is it possible to run more than one programme in Assigned Access mode?

Sorry, I hadn't looked at the details closely before I posted earlier. It turns out that Assigned Access only supports Windows Store apps, so vMix wouldn't work with it anyway.

FWIW, I happen to use the same method Bardos59 listed earlier. I also launch Open Broadcaster Software automatically using a shortcut in the Startup folder.

I also have an issue I wish I could find a way to solve....when I load a saved preset, I still have to open the 'Audio Mixer', even though I saved it with the mixer open.....is there a way to keep that window open on reloading a preset......another thing ...well this should be in the features request.... I wish that the audio mixer was in a form that it could be detachable so I could move it around, and minimize it when not needed....that would be good for me....
