Hello,

For the past 2 or so services I streamed out live to Facebook, and recorded to hard drive, Camera 2 freezes. It is fine for about 5 - 10 minutes into the service, but then I can't control the camera (PTZ) and it is stuck on a frozen image of whatever was on camera at the time of freeze. I checked all cabling and the SDI-USB card seems fine. If I reboot the camera, it will come back OK. But I can't do this during a service. Any suggestions? is it vMix software perhaps? should I delete then re-enter the camera 2 input in vMix? Thanks

Go to Power Options, and make sure you have the Power Plan is set to High Performance on your vMix PC. Also, go to Change advanced power settings, then USB settings. Change USB selective suspend setting to Disabled

I think that did the trick! I tested for over 30 minutes without the camera freezing up thank you!

I have experienced the same thing last week. One input was from a video capture device which I had to delete and reenter 7 or 8 times before the input returned to normal. Thinking it was the input device (which has worked well for several years) I removed it and replaced it a Roland VR-3 which has a USB input. Froze one time and came back after I closed and reentered the input.

Thanks! I will look at the Magewell SDI-USB video card...I have our vendor coming to test it. If it is a bad card, they will replace it.
