I would like to use one 4k-camera (Webcam) to be insert multiple times as inputs, so that I can define differnt picture-areas (PAN/TILT/ZOOM-presets) to fade from one to another.... One input should show the total setting; one only the center, on the left side, one the right, and so on...

I can add several Inputs if I use an NDI-Camera, but it does not work if I use my webcam (logitech Brio). I can insert it once, and if I insert it a second time, I get the error-message, that the system rexources to perform the requested service are insufficient.....

Is it not possible to add my 4-USB-Webcam several-times? Or do I just need more GPU/CPU? (Camera one time added uses 39% of GPU und 13% of CPU)

The question is, what I need to do to get about 5-6 presets running with one Webcam....

Thank you very much for your help!

Simply use virtual inputs. Right click over the camera input's gear icon.

Or try the "Virtual PTZ" feature of vMix":

Thank you for this information. It works !

The only issue is now, that the video has a big delay and is not really running smooth.... (this is also, if I just use one input without virtual copies...).

Is there a possibility to avoid this? I have a i7 CPU with 3,6Ghz if this information is relevant...

So the video is already delayed with a single input and nothing more? Note that vMix has some build-in latency, but this sounds heavier. I have no experience with a 4K webcam, but using several HD webcams on a similar laptop works for me. Having said that, CPU or GPU load can be heavy and USB bandwidth can also be tricky. What is the CPU and GPU load? What type USB port are you using?

Yes, it is delayed with one single input....
I just testet it on my own computer (which ist faster than the one I am going to use the 4k-webcam) but also on my computer it is delayed by about one second.

I uploaded a short video:
Video-Delay

I use USB3.0; otherwise 4k resolution would not be supported...
GPU-usage is 39%; CPU about 13%....

With Brio you must select "Brio MF" as the source in order to get 4K30 with minimum delay.

Selecting merely "Brio" uses Direct Show, which increases latency and does not handle 4K at 30 f/s.
