Hi All,
I have spent some time scouring the web and youtube for an answer to this question and I was not able to find it.
The main thing I am looking for in a recording program like vMix is the ability to output separate video and audio tracks to Premier Pro where I can fine tune/edit them. Currently, I only seem able to record into a single video and audio track.
With OBS, I can output a single video track and multiple audio tracks. This solution gets me half way to my goal.
With Camtasia I can get separate video tracks, but their format is proprietary so I can't do much with that in Premier Pro.
So, will vMix allow me to output multiple video & audio tracks so that I can edit them in Premier Pro?
Thanks,
John

vMix has (I think) 7 audio buses, which can be recorded to separate audio tracks in the final recording, which you need to enable in the recording settings. Then in Premiere Pro, you can separate the multitrack audio into individual audio tracks, for easy mixing.
So that gets you the multiple audio tracks that you want. I don't know about recording multiple video outputs, I haven't tried that. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

There are 2 recording slots in vMIX. You can use both to get separate video tracks and audio. Map audio buses to these recordings, or use WAV recording option to get tracks as multichannel WAV.
If that's not enough, ISO recording comes in handy.
