Yes, it does appear the latest driver solves the issue:

https://www.nvidia.com/e.../drivers/results/168778/

If a few others could test and confirm, I will close this case!

Just tried with a 2080 Super and it looks good.

Driver : GPU Usage (with external output enabled)
451.48 : 13% (22%)
460.79 : 32% (41%)
461.90 : 13% (22%)

Tested with 8 Sample Input cameras at 1080p60.

Edit: That's on 24.0.0.40. (I'm a bit behind updating this machine)

I just tried adding 8 channel replay with the sample cameras. In case it is any interest to you that increased GPU usage to 18% with replay enabled and total CPU usage in task manager went from 2% to 7% (CPU value in vMix interface went from 1% to 5%). That's on a 3960X.

Hey what's the scoop on current Nvidia Studio Drivers? Noticed that the issues were resolved with the 461.09 Game Ready Drivers released 1/7 but the latest studio drivers are from 12/15 460.89
I use the Studio Drivers as I use a 10Bit Monitor - should I wait?

Greetings, colleagues!
I will not presume to argue, perhaps I am wrong.
There are new issues with this new driver version from NVIDIA (January 7, 2021). During the stream, the Ethernet port of my computer stops working! I have to restart my computer. Moreover, Adobe Premier Pro has stopped exporting videos.
After I installed the old version of the driver recommended on this forum - all problems disappeared! Both vMix and Adobe Premier Pro work well.

Lots of people online complaining about stability issues with 461.09, including the above mentioned Premiere issues being confirmed.

It may be fine with vMix, and may not depending on your hardware / other software. Personally I would wait until nVidia fixes the reported problems.

461.40 has been released as both Game Ready and Studio versions. I've just tested both versions and they are performing well in vMix.
