I am a newer vMix HD user. I have had 2 or 3 occasions now where I am having audio issues. I am running our church audio through a Allen&Heath Qu-32 and then into a Presonus Audiobox USB96. My PC is a new Dell XPS with a i7 processor, 24 gb ram, 1tb SSD, Nvidia 1660s graphics card.

I have experienced 2 separate issues...

1.) On a couple of occasions, when I start everything up, the sound is real fuzzy and distorted. The sound level is not very loud but it shows clipping on the Presonus inputs. If I restart the program it goes back to normal.

2.) Second issue... again, on a few occasions, the sound feed to the video just stops in mid stream. It's almost as if I hit mute. I still get sound out of my mixer, but nothing through my headphones hooked up to the presonus and nothing to my video feed. This happened twice during the same church service recently. The only way that I have found to fix it is to close and re-open vMix.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I've never used this box myself, but it looks like it is capable of 96 kHz, while vMix functions in 48 kHz (or 44.1 kHz if you set it up that way).

If you haven't set up your audio interface to do 48 kHz and it's still running at 96 kHz, it's entirely possible you're experiencing side effects of that.
