For Xmas i need to start several items at specific times and dates.
E.g.
I want to play an video on December 25th at 11.00, than a singer at 11.17, After played that Vmix needs to switch to HDMI 1 and a live stream at 12.00.

I hope there s an solution otherwise i need to search for another wife ( since will not be home or Xmas).

Hope someone can help me

Use teamviewer on your machine and on your laptop and you can work remote from home . You see the wife and you can monitor your vmix :)

This topic was addressed maybe a hundred times in the forum already ! If you'd searched a little, you'd already have many solutions available !

Although vMix is not designed specifically to be run as a "playout" system, it has many features which can be used to "sort of" do it anyway. > triggers, playlist, list and so on
Furthermore, it can work in conjonction with any Windows "Scheduler" and many third-party apps were created to bring vMix with the ability to run unattended and/or at specific times.
vMix can also be used remotely...

All you want to know is already in the forum, it's boring to repeat over and over the same answers, so use "keywords" in the search box and you'll get plenty of solutions for a merry xmas

Speaking of playback/playout, I am curious with the major improvements to replay in VMIX 24 if they might consider adding an import feature for easier playout in the future. I would be 100% comfortable replacing my Newtek 3Play units with VMIX Replay (24) for the exception of playout.

In sports it is still common to use our replay machines to playout commercials. I know this could obviously be done in VMIX itself but having to leave the replay UI to do it. Now if you are using VMIX for replay only your op now has to understand VMIX in general. Another area is would greatly be needed is what is referred to as front and back ends on replay packages. If the replay op makes a really mice 5 play package on a player, team, or situation they should have the option to import an animated motion graphic that leads into the replays. A typical function on most replay systems.

The work around at this point would be to manually run everything in to the machine and clip it before the show and maybe have a BIN or 2 setup for commercials and motion video elements. So not a deal breaker but certainly not a streamlined as having a simple import tab to bring a file in as a clip. I would even settle for brining it in to the normal VMIX interface and having an option to "send to replay as file" or something like that.

Dollar for dollar, VMIX replay will still be the best deal in the industry based on the scale of money to features.
