As most of our productions now involve multiple vMix Calls, a great feature would be to be able to send the vMix Call audio for each individual call also as a "direct output" to audio interface, such as Dante DVS, this way we could have each call separately in our audio mixer (usually Yamaha or Allen & Heath) for complete control over the program sound.

I agree but based on my tests, this causes to lose labial sync when the audio comes back in vMix.
I have much better results with VST3 plugins for sound enhancement and a basic midi controller or software app (like VMPB) for mix.

With 8 buses available there's more than enough to test such a workflow. Maybe you will prove me wrong.

I am running out of busses as it is, and we have a sound mixer and a sound engineer for a very good reason. Besides, the VST implementation in vMix is, to be honest, not very good.

Me too! We tried... Not usable imho !
For multiple reasons Martin already explained many times, like the mandatory 1024 buffer setting on Asio drivers...

It's good enough for vMixCalls in my opinion, although I'd obviously wish VST3 could be remotely operated.
I wrote this interface to give my sound guy max control on vMix audio. This is a good step forward already.

DWAM-Virtual-Mixer.jpg (1,733kb) downloaded 66 time(s).

I have not tried Dante for this workflow so maybe it's worth a try but I guess audio's delayed the same way when sent back to vMix.

Another point to consider : such a workflow implies we lose the automatic mix minus feature on Calls. Not a big deal when we have a audio guy but this requires a lot of attention and a complex routing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it wouldn't be great to have this. I'm just saying that in regards to how vMix works, it's probably better not to wait and to try to find alternative ways to deal with callers audio.

In My test we had the same results.... too many delay.

@DWAN : do you think that we have the same delay with ndi input (sound only)?
8 buses, 8 calls , 1 DVS and 1 QL1....... it would be great.
