Over the last couple years our studio has used NewTek TriCaster Virtual Set Editor to produce our news reports using our green screen. We have decided to upgrade to the vMix system moving forward. My question is, can I take the virtual sets I have already created in the Virtual Set Editor, and use them in vMix? Is there a way to export them to a format that vMix recognizes?

Hi,

Same topic, is there any available editor such as the Newtek Virtual Set Editor compatible with vMix?

Virtual sets are not too hard to create in vMix. The issues would be (a) can you easily export from the TriCaster? And (b) vMix virtual sets are somewhat restricted re components, check input elements etc to make sure it’s feasible:
