I have saved multiple PTZ Angles and they show as seperate Inputs, great.
I usually prepare the next camera angle on the Preview and then Fade to it, but when I select a preview that is from the SAME CAMERA that I am live on, it will suddenly move PTZ to the new Positon I wanted to preview.
I would love a feature where I could set a checkbox in the Input Settings to lock PTZ when it's live. This way it would catch a mistake and force me to use another camera or a stinger in order to mask movement.

+1 Please!

Try as I may, I still get nailed by this occasionally.

Since I do tweak PTZ shots that are on-air, it would be great if the tick box prevented switching to another position on the same camera when the input is in program.

in addition:

- virtual inputs should have an indicator that shows if the original input or an other virtual input of the same input is in preview or output

+1 with priority, please.

Very annoying when the camera unwanted changes ptz while in program.

Sometime it happens having the cam in preview with the right position set, when changing to program the cam moves unexpectedly to a previous position! When a lock can be set, this 'bug' might be solved as well...

Bonus: when using multiple virtual cam inputs and do a 'virtual input update' and then save the current profile, picture-image and PTZ position is changed in ALL profiles using this virtual input. I would expected the changes to be stored in the saved profile only, not in all profiles!

I missed this in my search, so I opened a new request which is the similar here - though I'm requesting that it still move, but pause the output while PTZ does it's thing.

Although I don't currently use the PTZ features (I wish I could - my cameras are not supported by the current ptz feature), I can see the need for this. I would, however, not lock any autofocus feature.

Totally agree with #3. Further ...

a) Color or other visual cue (e.g., highlighting, blinking, etc.) should be used in the inputs panel instead of any type of locking/prevention as in some situations the operator may actually intend the live Output be moved to a new angle/preset.

b) The active preset in Output should be especially visually cued in the inputs panel (over that of its sister presets) in case the operator wants to pan/tilt/zoom from the current position and needs to locate the input for it.

c) No highlighting is necessary for a PTZ camera if only one preset exists for it. This would make it consistent with non-PTZ inputs.
