OK, so we are building some 4RU vmix machines, but have struggled to get a case we like. I contacted a bunch of suppliers to find out what is on offer, and the answer... is not much. Well actually, lots that don't work well. But - one large manufacturer of cases decided to humour me, and voila, the 'perfect' 4RU case was born. It is designed to be short enough to fit into a plastic 19" deep Gator case / flightcase unit, and with a 240mm water cooling radiator at front, which gives total 3x120mm fans for good airflow.

The HDD caddy is a little bit of a compromise, but with nvme drives and SSD being our main hdd's, I don't think we/most people will actually use more than 2 3.5" drives. Orientation concerns shouldn't matter: https://blog.fosketts.ne...drives-side-even-upside/ And a little heat is ok, if not too much - https://static.googleuse...rchive/disk_failures.pdf

There is a PCIE card support for securing larger graphics cards during computer transit.
Anyway - I told the company I would post around and see if other people are interested in getting some. Let me know your thoughts / if you want one / some. I'm not selling them or making any money from this, just drumming up interest for a case I think we all want and need.

We are using the Genesys E420B 4RU in a Gator GRB-4U. Added two hot-swap HDD caddies to the case.
Only problem is that the case won't fit any normal sized GPUs. We are using a low-profile GTX 1050 Ti (there are also low-profile GTX 1650 variants available now).

Ok, Well, the case is finally built! I'm getting some shipped to Australia, so let me know if you're interested.
