We could really do with a magic wand right now. I feel like we've tried everything but thought I should drop my methods in here and see if there are any genius's that can help.
We are running: X299 Tuf Mk2 motherboard I9 7900x 2 x SSDs 32GB dual channel RAM GTX 1080 graphics card BMD 4k recorder BMD Quad 2
No matter what happens, when we have 2 different NDI outputs (i.e. preview and live) and watch them on two different devices we get render spikes. If we close one of the devices viewing the feed the spikes immediately stop. The "resting position" is around 5ms but the spikes are generally over 20ms so we get dropped frames and sound glitches. Can anyone recreate this issue/has anyone experienced it and resolved it? I feel like we've tried everything but please suggest anything, I'm at the point of trying candlelit rituals to try and exorcise the evil spirits!

I assume you mean task manager? There's nothing that seems to be using any resources in a major way.

Also, we're currently rolling on dual channel memory. Any idea if going quad would make any difference?
