Has anyone experienced this?
We have an established PTZOptics camera in vMix over NDI with multiple vMix input positions and they all work fine once it is... well, let's say warmed up.

We start with the camera already on, and what we're finding is that when the vMix Preset is loaded, we do not get any video picture coming through to vMix. The camera moves to all the vMix input positions so there is a connection, but there is no image.

Then, at some point, maybe 2, maybe 5 minutes later, the video signal suddenly comes through to vMix and remains good until another Preset is opened and we get the same situation. Occasionally we have resorted to unplugging the camera network cable for a few seconds, which resolves the situation.

Any thoughts, anyone?
Thanks.

Check that you have the latest firmware update in the cameras. I had a similar issue a while back. That seemed to have cleared it up..

The firmware on the PTZ Camera was a little behind and has been updated. Initial test was OK.
However, when I came back to it today (about 24 hours later), I found that it doesn't seem to have fixed these issue.

So, the PTZ camera was still initially unresponsive. Again, the camera was on, and I could interact with it, but it was showing no output.

The same is the case using the NDI monitoring tools.

Any other thoughts?

What kind of router are you using ? There may be some settings in there that could help..

Check this link from PTZOptics
