Like OBS Studio, it would be a great addition to have the "new" NVENC Features available in vMix. This only works with Turing cards but improves image quality and performance quite a bit.

I was thinking about getting a new 3xxx rtx card but if it doesn't support the new nvenc features then I'll hold off for now

Any encoding improvements in NVENC will automatically be used by vMix, there is nothing that needs to be switched on to keep up with NVENC updates it should just "work".
