We have some problems yesterday form 15:00 to 17:00h (Madrid Time GMT+2) The incoming calls are unstable but the bigger problem are in the return to the callers, they complain to freezes on their screens, their connexions are ok because their use our computers and we can configure this equipment and do some speedtest before start the streaming, we have the same problem on two different webinars, one whit 7 calls and ZOOM and other whit 3 callers, different computers, different internet connexions and different internet providers, we stream to 4 channels (2 principal and 2 backup) to a IBMCLOUD whit any issue but the return to the callers by vmixcall freezes constantly, the incoming calls looks unstable too but better that the return to the callers.

Could be a problem on the vmixcall servers?

We only try to find and explanation if we are doing something wrong.

The computers are new stationary machines i9, RTX 2080 Ti, 128Gb RAM

Thanks and best regards

Hi,

There have been no outages recently on our servers.
vMix Call is peer to peer primarily (it doesn't normally use our servers anyway), so check below to diagnose the connection;

Interesting I also had issues yesterday. In a 90 minute session of two callers, both callers started at 2mb connections. After about 40mins caller 1 started having issues. Resolution dropped to 180p and bit rate ended up around 90k for video. They were in Ireland we are in the UK. They ran a speedtest which showed a 40mbps upload speed. I was using advanced.vmixcall.com and all callers were set to peer to peer. Rebooted their laptop - they only had chrome running. Tried the connection on iphone X and another laptop - all resulted in the same low bit rates. The iphone eventually got back up to 720p30 but bit rate never got above 250kbps.

Caller2 coming in from Finland had no issues, solid at 720p30@2.5mbps for the whole time.

We are on a dedicated 100/100 leased line running an obsidian spec system.

I had a look at the trouble shooting link but think we have all those covered. Any other ideas why the bitrate would drop so low and never recover even though internet speeds are good?
