I'm no longer seeing MS Teams NDI on 2 separate machines. Tried running Teams on 2 other remote machines, NDI is enabled in Teams settings. This started happening today.

Ok, so Microsoft being Microsoft. They added a broadcast over NDI option in the meeting options. Hope that helps someone else!

This is a known setting for me.

you need to enabe NDI i the permissions setting before joining a call. But that leaves the risk that every call will have NDI enabled.
Microsoft has now added the option while it is enabled. That you still have to confirm that you want to use NDI in a call.

But this solution is not yet stable. When NDI is enabled in permission. And you have not turned it on during a call. When someone shares a desktop you are still able to capture it via NDI.

Just a side note
I’ve seen the new noise cancelation of MS Teams in action. Via teams my couterpat had it enabled. He asked if I could hear the music. I asked what music. Than he called me on my cellphone... now I could almost not hear him because of the music. While in teams there was no music.

So, that just showed up for me yesterday. With just permissions enabled, nothing was sent over NDI (it was previously).

I had to do both permissions and broadcast to NDI for VMix to see it.

Yeah, noise cancellation is not great, but since all the content in our side, and we only use Teams for presenters, it's not been a real problem, sure beats the VMix Call feedback and having to constantly mute callers.
