I have a PTZ 20 x NDI/hx camera. I have been successfully using it with NDI and/or RTSP but it does not show in the camera list.

I'm assuming you are using the SDI output from the camera. What frame rate setting are you using ? What type of capture device are you using ? The two must be compatible.

I'm almost embarrassed to say - our church has given me a basic Lenovo Ideapad s145. I have v/mix hd. and am using a ptz optics camera. I use POE to connect the
camera at 30 fps. We do have fiber optic internet access.

If you are using POE with the camera, then you are using NDI to capture the signal. In that case it will not show up in the Camera tab in the settings. The Camera tab only shows webcams and external capture devices. If it's working on NDI, then best to keep using it that way.
