Universal Presenter Remote unfortunately adds a lot of work in setting up.

just a view buttons (2 or 3) in vMix call would be amazing!

Question: How many of you have the Pro/4k Vmix version?
I have been developing several tools - remote control decks(like stream deck) and remote clicker.
These work direct with Vmix using scripting.

see a short demo video

if interested in trying give me a shout

All current shortcuts would be preferred, even with keyboard triggering (remote instant replay controller via vMix call!)

this is a good suggestion.. the best way to implement i think would be to have a number of buttons in vMix callers screen which have no function by default and then the producer can assign shortcuts to those buttons which could vary for each caller.. also an option to not show the buttons in the caller windows would be good to minimise clutter for those who dont need to see it..

buttons would be most useful but other things like faders/rotary controls and maybe a text box (seen as a data source) would be good also to expand interactive abilities..

While I can appreciate that people are using vMix Call in a way where this makes sense, especially with the current situation, I feel it prudent to remind everyone that it's not what vMix Call is really designed for.

vMix Call was built & sold as a live interview solution, not a webinar solution. The assumption, therefore (and I'm not sure I disagree with it under normal usage) is that the person taking the lead, deciding when videos start or slides advance, is the host, not the caller.

The caller is meant to be (and, in normal usage, is) a passive part of the production.

While they may expand vMix Call to be a webinar solution based on feedback like this, those of you counting on it would likely be better off finding an actual webinar solution instead of waiting for it to be shoehorned into an interview solution.

I'd also be remiss if I didn't point out that a presentation involving slides almost always involves a script or outline of some sort. If you met with your presenters in advance, you can find out where they want the slides changed & handle it for them when they get to the cue, like is done for most physical events with the same requirements.

The vast majority of presentations I've been to didn't give the speaker a remote--the tech booth handled slide changes based on cues in the speech.

So that's also an option.

Hi, you may be interested in viewing the set of tools I have developed called RProducer.
from previous posts it was mentioned that maybe a PPT control, is included in the VMIX Call interface. The one problem with this is that if you have multiple presenters then how do you manage who is is clicking the PPT.

RProducer enables you to create multiple Presenter Clickers with any VMIX function for the buttons and operates over the WAN/LAN to control PPT slides in VMIX.
You can enabe and disable Presenter clickers, so control when its their turn to click and present.

RProducer also solves the issues of connecting Presenters in to the VMIX Call inputs.
Instead of giving the presenter a call link, you simply send all presenters a link to a branded login interface where they enter a queue and you can the from the RProducer call manager assign them to any VMIXCall input which prompts the Presenter to join or you can automatically open the call window for them(Pending they have disabled their popup blocker)

There are many features in RProducer and more being added.
The Latest to be launched shortly is you can now control PPT directly on any windows machine buy simply including a PPT macro thats starts when you switch to presentation mode. (No additonal software required) The RPRoducer clickers then work directly with the PPT as well as other buttons controling VMIX inputs i.e Presenter clicks to play a video..

If you would like to try please visit

where you can signup and test all features.
