Input 1 - Vmix Call Input 2 - live camera Audio Input - Steinberg ASIO input 1 with a mic - its working. Rest of inputs images
Output 1 - output Output 2 - Input 2 Output 3 - Input 1
I am sending my live cam to vmix call so they can see and hear me to communicate before recording....So vmix call video source set to Output 2 - working
MultiCorder Output 1 selected - audio set to master - recording to D:\whatever Output 3 selected - audio set to master - recording to E:\whatever
Rest of settings: MP4/VBR 16/ ABR 192 - H264baseline/ use hardware Encoder enabled/ Wave File Record - ON
With these setting I expect to record the main output along with the main audio using output 1 going to D: With output 3 I expect to record just Vmix call with the same audio going to E:
What I am getting is video recording output 1 with no audio. Output 3 is recording audio with no video.....
What am I doing wrong?
I have till 3:00 PM to get this figured out....

The work around is to not use multicorder and just use record, and I can do that for these particular calls - but that does not explain what's going on....

Here is what I tired - I armed all outputs in multicorder....output 1 and output 4 are set up exactly the same. Output 4 works, get audio. Output 1 does not - no audio. FOr now I will switch to using output 4 instead - but I'd still love to figure out why there is no audio recording to the SAME output.

Come on people - why would the SAME configuration, sent to different ssds record differently? Output 1 - set to output, no audio, although audio set to master - and output 4 setup exactly the same way records audio?
I need to solve this as it basically means that I am fully one output down....This has caused me no end of headache.

Check the Audio Settings under Settings, Outputs on the cog icon next to NDI for Output 1 and Output 4. I remember these settings to be relevant for a problem, although I did not expect them to be.

That did it - I have no memory of changing this setting...under output 1 audio was set to bus a....I owe you a beverage - cheers! And if I ever run into an issue again I know how to fix it. beer.jpg (154kb) downloaded 1 time(s).
